| UPCOMING EVENTS: 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. Hind-Site "Get Your Rear In Gear" Bike Tour, 5K Run-Walk, Family Fest & Health Fair Location: Discovery Elementary School in Waite Park This event is geared to increase awareness of colorectal cancer, which is the second leading cause of cancer death in the United States. This community event will raise money for the Hind-Site Fund that is managed by the CentraCare Foundation for Central Minnesota. Join in the fun and activity, including a bike tour of Quarry Park, 5K run/walk, food, fun, live music, silent auction and family activities. StillPointe will have a booth at the health fair with FREE seated massage and great information. See you there! Saturday, September 13 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. YMCA Back to School Family Fest Location: YMCA on Northway Drive, St. Cloud Lots of family fun, food and activities - including free health screenings. StillPointe will be there to do spinal screenings and backpack checks. Stop in and get some great information and offers from StillPointe and other participants at the event. Saturday, September 20 9:00 a.m. to Noon - Rain or Shine! "Pine Cone Back To School Health Screening Event" Location: Pine Cone Vision, 2380 Troop Drive, Suite 201, Sartell (Just across the parking lot from StillPointe.) This annual event provides a variety of health screenings for the kids who have headed back to school, and activities for the entire family. StillPointe will be providing scoliosis and spinal screenings for kids, plus backpack checks (bring in their backpacks) to assure proper fit. And we will provide FREE seated massage for the adults. PineCone Vision Center will provide vision screenings and Dentistry for Children will be providing dental evaluations. There will be food, entertainment (magic) and fun everyone - with drawings for prizes every 1/2 hour and a grand prize drawing at 11:30 a.m. Must be present to win. BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND. Saturday, October 4 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Digital Infrared Thermal Imaging Location: StillPointe Natural Health Center, Sartell Appointments: Call 320-203-8266 StillPointe will offer Digital Infrared Thermal Imaging (DITI) and you must call to schedule an appointment for this service. This is a non-invasive digital image taken of the breast (or other parts of the body) to detect changes in vascular tissue as an early detection to breast cancer and disease. Valerie Zumbusch, CNHP, a licensed Thermography technician will perform the scans. All scans are read by medical doctors at Duke University and you will receive a full report. This is not to be used as a substitute for other breast or health screenings, but is another tool for prevention and early detection. Scans are also available for a partial or your entire body. The scans identify inflammation and provide an opportunity to treat a condition before it becomes a significant problem. Call StillPointe for additional information and to make an appointment.
