Book nook: The Numerati

I just finished reading a very interesting book....The Numerati (link to Amazon). It is a very quick and easy read and is very thought-provoking re: the number crunching science that has been developing behind all the free data we give away re: ourselves with our many mouse clicks while

traversing the internet, credit card purchases, etc. Data mining is the result......with the potential to benefit businesses, your health care, etc. Also, as the author notes...there is a potential dark side in terms of violations of our privacy. I give it 4 out of 5 stars. I would read it again. A NY Times books review is also available (click here).
