Quaint bed

We are staying at the Tavern Street Inn in Stillwater MN. Very
historic building with antique furniture in all rooms. Nice ambiance.
The ornate bed is awesome--although I keep bumping my knees on the end
foot posts.

Stillwater MN mini-vacation

Diane and I are in lovely Stillwater MN for a weekend away. Here is
the famous lift bridge. We jogged over the bridge and back as part of
our afternoon jog. In the process we also saw th MN Zephyr dinning
train.

Murphy's law

We drive four hours to drop Eric at UND only to encounter a broken
dead bolt latch. Maintenance guy is now trying to drill and remove the
lock. Not an easy task. What a waste of time.

Amazing tower

This photo is amazing.  So much so that it doesn't look real. See story below from NEATORAMA

The Burj Dubai tower, the tallest skyscraper in the world, is about to be completed. To celebrate it, David Hobcote has taken a series of amazing high resolution pictures from the air which give an exact impression of the breathtaking, massive scale of this building.
